“Andrew and team did three things for us: two new outdoor outlets, underground conduit design guidance and an outdoor outlet for a new hardscape installation and pergola, and a replacement master breaker box (which involved entirely new grounding). They showed up precisely when they said they would, took a lunch break timed to allow me to put in a new sheetrock behind the incoming box, and wrapped up right on time, with new descriptions for every circuit (a huge improvment from before!). On time, on budget, city inspector signoff without a single issue. We are totally delighted with each part of the job and recommend them highly.”

“We had an emergency electrical situation where our dining room light became partially disconnected from the ceiling, creating a hazardous situation. Evergreen Electric responded promptly and had someone out the next day, which we appreciated. I was quoted $950 over the phone, which seemed fair for the work. However, midway through the job, the electrician issued two change orders, adding $600 to the total cost for a couple of 2x4s to secure the mounting screws in the attic-materials that couldn't have cost more than $20-$30. The final bill ended up at $1,775 for just a 4 hours of work. Andrew was resourceful and did quality work, but the way the additional charges were handled left a negative impression. It's not great business practice to upcharge significantly after the job is already underway, especially when the homeowner is in a tough position. If you hire them, be sure to clarify costs upfront and watch for change order upsells.”
